I'm posting this whilst I continue trying to find a solution for it. I've been trawling through the previously asked questions on here but so far have not come across it.

I have a VAIO F Series VPCF12S1E My problem is that if I put it  into standby or sleep mode for longer than let's say 10 minutes, then it does not bot back up. The screen stays black, there is some hard drive activity but then it stops. I have to hold the power button down to force it to reboot.

From what I've read the problem may relate to a device driver, perhaps something I've installed that's failing to reboot (Internet Explorer 9 for example), but it may also be VAIO related so will post the question here, and if I find a solution will update the thread.

If anyone else has had this issue and knows a solution I'd be grateful though!
