Can I use a T Adaptor and Pinhole Lens on a NEX 5?

At present I'm getting a message that lens is not correctly attached and can't activate the shutter.

    Hi,

    just go to the set-up menu and scrol down to "Release w/o lens" and set it to "Enable". Then you can use any lens with matching adapter in A or M mode, no AF.

     

    Have fun with the pinhole!
