While everything about this lens is to be liked - there is one particular problem that is pretty annoying. There is loads of purple fringing in high contrast areas. To go for a 2.8 is way out of my means, the reviews that I had read before making this selection is that you lose 1 stop of light compared to f2.8 but everything else is comparable. Not saying regretting the decision but when you pay over a grand you expect the native lens to stand head and shoulders above similar 3rd party lenses

Bin zufrieden, aber man muss leider dazu sagen, dass der Autofokus manchmal nicht trifft. In Anbetracht des Preises schade. Und man kommt ab und zu an die Schalter und schaltet versehentlich den Bildstabilisator ab. Bokeh für ein F4 sehr gut, Stabilisator funktioniert super (wenn man ihn denn nicht versehentlich ausgeschaltet hat) und der Brennweitenbereich ist toll! Wenn der Fokus sitzt, ist die Linse unheimlich scharf!

I deliberated over the f2.8 v f4 for some time, glad I choose the f4 version, I could not justify the price difference, love the separation on this glass, quick release tripod collar, button set up the lens body. would really recommend the f4 version if your sitting on the fence with like me the cost difference.

I have been using this lens for the past 2 or 3 weeks. It has so far made my life easier, the quality of the glass is just so good. I never thought I could take photos as good as I did with this lens. It has a lot of switches for focus, stabilisation, focus lock just like it should. The weight is ideal. Being a lens that doesn't extend and with a constant F4 is very useful, but if I could improve on that, I'd like an F2.8 or lower (I know there is an F2.8 GM version but for almost twice the money). In evenings you start to struggle unless you have your own lighting. An amazing lens that I do not regret spending my hard earned money on, at all! The zoom and focus rings are very good, with the perfect amount of dampening and the zoom ring has a shirt throw so you can be precise and quick. Autofocus does a great job, you would almost never have a situation where you'd have to use manual focus. I use it with an A6400 and it does a tremendous job. Couldn't recommend it more!

For the first time I decided to buy this kind of zoom with F4.0, the widest aperture. As zooms go this is a quite a compact one. Mit dem FE70-200F4G OSS habe ich meine „ständig dabei“ Objektivpalette für die A6500 abgeschlossen. Mein A-Mount-Objektiv aus der A900-Ära 70-200F2,8G SSM ist zwar für die A6500 absolute Spitze, aber nur für bestimmte Tiersessions mit Hunden oder Pferden geeignet, da es zu groß und zu schwer für den Alltag ist. Mein E55-210F4,5-6,3 OSS aus der NEX7- Ära ist allenfalls für mittlere Brennweiten ganz brauchbar. Da das E70-350F4,5-6,3GT OSS sehr lichtschtschwach ausgefallen ist, entschied ich mich letztendlich für das FE70-200F4. Es ist relativ klein und leicht, hat am APS-C-Sensor eine hervorragende Schärfe in allen Bereichen und die Fokkussierung erfolgt an der A6500 sachnell und präzise, auch bei wenig Licht. Also ein Top-Objektiv für „immer dabei“. Lediglich die Ausführung der Sonnenblende fällt gegenüber dem 70-200F2,8G SSM extrem stark ab. Schade.

Ein tolles Objektiv zu einem fäfren Preis. Mit seiner Brennweite von 70-200 mm ist es für viele Situationen super geeignet und die Länge des Objektives verändert sich bei der Änderung der Brennweite nicht, die maximal geöffnete Blende von f4 ist auch ausreichend. Sehr gut gefällt mir an diesem Objektiv das geringe Gewicht und die Möglichkeiten für die Einstellungen des Bildstabilisators und des Fokus.

Purchased this lens over 1 1/2 years ago. The quality and standard of photograph is really excellent. What you get for the lens price for me represents very good value. For me as an avid landscape photographer the F4 aperture is perfect as it helps keep the lens light and I really don't need those extra stops to capture views. I love the photos it takes of distant scenes, for example mountains, as it helps emphasis the contours and colours. Used with a Sony A7iii landscape photos from this lens are really excellent.

This lens is my go to telephoto lens to match with my a6400. The compact size and light weight keep my keep easy to transport and fairly discreet. The f4 aperture gives a nice bokeh for portraits and the sharpness is out of this world for the price of the lens. The tripod mount is strong and sturdy and can be adjusted to rotate the lens to any angle. The zoom ring is smooth in its action and the range of motion to go from 70mm to 200mm isn’t so long that you have to strain to reach from one end to the other. The internal zoom action keeps the lens compact and balanced and the case and lens hood are of excellent quality. I would definitely recommend this lens to others and it is incredible value for money for the sharpness and image quality that it produces.

Dieses Objektiv ist sehr gut. Trotz seiner 4er Blende schafft es eine sehr schöne Tiefenunschärfe. Die Naheinstellgrenze könnte minimal besser sein aber diese Kritik ist zu vernachlässigen weil es ein Teleobjektiv ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

Ich habe vor einem Monat dieses Objektiv gekauft und muss feststellen, dass dieses Teil eine sehr gute Alternative zum großen Objektiv mit 2,8 Blende ist. Es macht Spaß mit diesem Objektiv in der freien Natur zu fotografieren. Es stellt schnell scharf und ist sehr gut handhabbar.Ich möchte dieses Teleobjektiv unbedingt weiter empfehlen!

Objektiv macht richtig Spaß. Lediglich der AF mit den verschiedenen Meßfeldern funzt nicht immer punktgenau, führt häufig zu vielen leicht unscharfen Bildern. Nutze mittlerweile nur noch MF Funktion mit Fokussierhilfe.

Ich habe mir das Objektiv hauptsächlich zur Fotografie von Hunden in Aktion angeschafft. Mir war ein schneller AF und ein möglichst geringes Gewicht des Objektivs wichtig. Mit dem 70-200 F4 habe ich damit die optimale Lösung gefunden. Es ist zwar nicht das kleinste. Doch, in der Kombination mit meiner Alpha 6400 die absolute Traumkonfiguration für die Hundefotografie. Mich stört es nicht diese Kombi auch auf längeren Ausflügen oder Veranstaltungen den ganzen Tag mitzuführen. Ich habe an der Stativschelle einen Slidergurt angebracht. So bin ich immer schnell bereit ein Foto zu machen. Meine alte Ausrüstung war deutlich schwerer und nicht so angenehm zu tragen. Mit diesem Objektiv habe ich bei Action Aufnahmen extrem wenig Ausschuss. Dabei liegt es beim Ausschuss fast nie an unscharfen Bildern, sondern eher am falschen Bildausschnitt bei Serienaufnahmen (nur halber Hund auf dem Bild z.B.). Schärfe, Farben und Hintergrund gefallen mir ausgezeichnet. Ich liebe es damit auf Fototour zu gehen.

Definitiv ein super Premium-Teleobjektiv. Der OSS arbeitet hervorragend, die Bildqualität ist überragend. Vor allem eine Alpha 7 R Serie macht hier riesen Spaß. Objektiv ändert die Länge nicht, ebenfalls super und im Gegensatz zum G Master deutlich! leichter. Ich liebe es jeden Tag damit zu fotografieren. Absolut genial!

Les performances sont à la hauteur de la réputation déjà excellente de cette objectif. La bonne surprise réside dans le mouvement interne des lentilles qui en font un objectif qui reste équilibré quelque soit la focale. Par ailleurs les moteurs sont extrêmement rapides et la mise au point est à chaque fois immédiate. Un petit point négatif pour le pare-soleil que je trouve un peu fragile.
