Notice of Catalyst series update

    The Catalyst series was updated in August 2026.
    This update includes changes for customers who already use the Catalyst series apps. See below for details.

    Changes

    • Catalyst Browse (free version) and Catalyst Prepare (paid version) have been integrated into a single app. The name of the app after integration is Catalyst Prepare. Basic features can be used for free with the new Catalyst Prepare. Subscribe to a paid plan to unlock additional advanced editing features and bulk exports.
      • * To distinguish it from older versions of Catalyst Prepare, it is written as Catalyst Prepare ver. 3.0 on the download page.
      • * Older versions of Catalyst Browse / Catalyst Prepare can still be used for a limited time.
    • The app UI has been significantly revamped in Catalyst Prepare ver. 3.0, making it easier to use.
    • With Catalyst Prepare ver. 3.0, the features available through paid plans have changed. Subscribing to a new plan gets you access to Catalyst Prepare ver. 3.0 (paid version), Catalyst Prepare Plugin for Premiere, and Catalyst Prepare Plugin for DaVinci Resolve.
      • * Older versions of Catalyst Prepare can still be used for a limited time.
